Anonymous asked: SO. Are you still single, then?
haha yes I am.
Anonymous asked: Glad you were able to learn who it was! That was really sweet. :)
haha yeah me too- it took me so dangg long to finally figure it out!
I agree, it really was a superly generous and very sweet gesture. (:
Anonymous asked: Ever learn who left the flowers on your doorstep?
Why yes indeed I did! =)
I had my suspicions, but actually found out who he was when he quoted the inside of the anonymous card to me.
“Remember, you’re appreciated and loved”.

Step back,
All you see now are the smudges, smears and misplaced lines-
Turn your eyes to a wider frame of view.
Step back farther,
All those faults you perceive are brushstrokes arranged
into the likeness of a beautiful life, a beautiful world, a beautiful soul.
Step back, this is the way I see you.
you left me flowers on my doorstep today.
And they aren’t just any flowers- somehow you knew how much I love orchids. Could you possibly have been any more classy? I don’t think so.
First of all, I just wanted to let you know that, even though I’ll try to refrain from launching a full-on investigation to track you down and thank you more personally, you made my day so much brighter.
And you know something? You’re the first person to ever send me flowers anonymously like this! It’s driving me slightly insane not being sure who you are. (How about next time you show up personally? Take me someplace classy? I think I’d like that too. I don’t want to push my luck with your generosity… but maybe next valentines day? haha)
Thank you a million times over for your thoughtfulness!
Maybe someday I’ll know who you are, but until then, I’ll think about you and wonder how I can turn around and make someone else’s day the way you made mine.
Thank you so very much! Happy Valentines day. <3

I literally just wrote an entire paper on aliens. I had an hour time slot to complete it, and I was done in 20 minutes.
My inner nerd was unleashed.
It was the most fun thing to write about out of everything I’ve written this week.
((I think this means my life is going downhill?))
Time for bed. My brain hurts, y’all. That was a beautiful piece of literature I just cranked out, there. Just sayin.

when you catch a glimpse of how worth the wait this really is.
Finally got a long-lost 35mm roll developed.
So many smiles and memories in these places. It feels like a mini time capsule or something! This is why I still love and use film.
As much as you would like to be able to see eye to eye with that person, you don’t have to agree in order to love them.
It’s ok to think differently, as long as you can love unconditionally.
Forever Alone?
Pride&Prejudice (Jane Austen)
Time has a funny way of drifting some relationships apart before entwining them together once more; often more than once. Sometimes this is an awkward or painful process, but in other cases it can sometimes be among the most refreshing and comforting experiences. In those times, you can know that although the years change so many things about where we are, how we’re living, and what we’re becoming, the one thing that was never really altered is who we are. And it is in that very center of our beings that still exists the reasons why we were friends with someone to begin with. Those kinds of genuine connections can be forgotten, concealed, neglected, or even abandoned for a time, but never broken.
That sort of relationship can be picked up, brushed off, and joyfully resumed. Not just as before, but deeper than before, with a wider understanding of the world and our place in it.
In short, there are just some people in life that you just can’t seem to get rid of.
But, in some cases, that’s very much alright- because you never really want to.
